Worth Spotlight: Meet Nicolas Deboeuf

As a Paraplanner, Nicolas’ main responsibility consists of building efficient financial plans for clients and developing informational support to help clients understand the proposed financial plans. Born and raised in Lille, a city located North of France, he was able to embark on the opportunity of coming to the U.S at the age of 18, by the Disney College Program in Orlando, Florida, a national internship program operated by The Walt Disney Company.

He was able to enroll at Winthrop University, to pursue his Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance, after obtaining his Bachelors of Science in Integrated Studies. Nicolas started his journey at Worth Advisors in June 2014, by being recommended by his Finance professor. After years of working in what he considers to be a “Family Atmosphere” at Worth Advisors, and aside from his responsibilities as a paraplanner, Nicolas is very involved with the Communications side, working on monthly newsletters, websites in which he designed and created the new Worth Advisors logo, branding, and other marketing material highlighting the services offered. As a person who enjoys helping clients, and hearing their feedback on his contributions, Nicolas obtained his Series 65 and has a Life Insurance Producer License. He currently aspires to become a CFP (Certified Financial Planner) in which he is currently studying for,  to better assist with client’s concerns.

During his spare time, he participates in guitar playing in which he often sings, and partakes in several water sports such as: scuba diving, kayaking, wakeboarding, etc. Looking into the future, he sees Worth Advisors, growing with multiple offices around the U.S. He lives by the virtue of budgeting, and advices the new generation of millennials to invest in their future by budgeting and establishing a strong financial foundation while they are still young.
